How to start Travel and Tours business in Pakistan, travel and tourism is hobby of many people who want to discover new things in the world. So there are many opportunity to get success in the travel and tourism. In this video we will discus about travel and tourism business in Pakistan. Our basic concept about travel and tours business is what type of business registration is required for Travel and Tours or travel agency. We will also discussed about Travel and Tours license and how we can run the Travel and Tours business.
Firstly we will discus about Travel and Tours business registration in Pakistan. There are two main type of business registration related to Travel and Tours, First one is AOP (Association of persons) and second one is SECP (Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan). You can register your Travel and Tours business from one of them. Both have different importance like if you just want to do business for travel like ticket booking with someone cooperation then you can get registration as AOP, If you want International Air Transport Association (IATA) membership then you should be register in secp for a Private Limited company. Both of company have same capital condition for services.
For example if you want to work for ticket booking you company capital should be Two lac Rupees and if you also working for travel then your capital should be Four lac Rupees or if you want to be IATA member then your capital should be Seventy Five Lac rupees. After the business registration for Travel and Tours, To start the work need Travel and Tours License. Travel and tours license can be apply under DTS rule. DTS is stand for Department of Tourist Services and its DTS License Application rule can find from DTS official website which shown in Video.
DTS is Department of Tourist Services was established in 1976 as an attached department of Federal Ministry of Tourism and its purpose is ensure quality of services provided by hotels, restaurants and travel agents. You can also apply for other tourism services like Hotel, Restaurant, Transportation and Accommodation. But we will study DTS License method for Travel Agencies. In this section you can download Application form for DTS License for travel and tours. There and 10 documents which are require for DTS License for travel and tours. After filling the application you need to pay challan for the license and challan fee is different as per which service you want offering. If you offer for just Ticket booking then challan fee will be 8,000 and if you offer Ticketing + Group Tours + Transportation Accommodation Rs.20,000/- or if you offer Domestic Tourism + Transportation Accommodation Rs.16,000/-. But the Bank guarantee is compulsory on any service license.
Bank Guarantee letter is issuing by bank against the amount which is deposited in account and the amount can be used un till return guarantee letter to bank. Its means our amount will be plugged and you can use the bank guarantee letter for DTS license for travel and tours.
