San Francisco de Quito, as this harmonious city is officially called, is the capital of Ecuador and sits high in the Andes straddling the equator. A #Quito #vacation means balance. Its World Heritage protected Old Town is contrasted by its progressive New Town.
The New Town, or La Mariscal, is centered on the bustling Plaza del Quinde and has markets, trendy cafés and nightlife. #Visit the Plaza de la Independencia, the Civic heart of Old Town, overlooked by the Municipal Palace, Archbishop’s Palace and Presidential Palace.
The Pichincha Volcano was once the setting of a historic battle that resulted in Quito’s liberation from Spain. But it’s the Cotopaxi Volcano, that is the Quito’s most famous landmark. While in the area, you can’t miss the Mitad del Mundo Monument and the Intiñan Solar Museum where you walk the line of the equator and be in two hemispheres at the same time.

¡Gran video! Quito es mi ciudad favorita en el mundo, pero tengo que advertir a la gente sobre el Hotel Reina Isabel. Reservé cuatro noches pero solo estuve 22 horas. Le dije a la recepción tres veces que el wifi no funcionaba. Trabajo en línea; sin wifi, sin trabajo. No solucionaron el problema. Llamé a la recepción y les dije que tenía que irme tres días antes porque no podía trabajar y que esperaba un reembolso por esas noches. El tipo dijo, sí, baje y enmendaremos su estadía. Cuando llegué allí y salí, me dijo que no daban reembolsos. La gerente (Jessica Fierro) decidió más tarde que no merecía un reembolso. Ella me dijo que solo me quejé del wifi una vez y me llamó mentiroso. ¡Evite el Hotel Reina Isabel! En su lugar, quédese en Le Parc Hotel.

Expedia still owes me $770.50. They got fully refunded by the airline
on August 25. Today is November 20. Does Expedia hire thieves to steal
refunds. I read reviews on their website and many people have had
